A patient in an isolation room prepares for the comeback concert of their life, but unknowingly must come to terms with their true identity. ‘My Name is Adam,’ is a 50 minute musical-monologue following a journey from delusion to reality celebrating the music of Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland and the musical theater genre. Originally produced by DANCENOW (DN) at Joe’s Pub in 2013, this original piece is written and choreographed by Adam Barruch in collaboration with Mark Ruhala, and musically directed and accompanied by Rachel Kaufman.
